Chứng khoán Mỹ mở cửa thấp hơn sau khi dữ liệu về bảng lương tư nhân cho thấy nhu cầu về lao động tăng mạnh mặc dù lãi suất tăng.

Vào lúc 9:40 ET (13:40 GMT), Dow Jones đã giảm 283 điểm tương đương 0,9%, trong khi S&P 500 giảm 1,1% và NASDAQ đã giảm 1,4%.

Cổ phiếu công nghệ đã có một đợt phục hồi nhỏ để bắt đầu quý thứ tư. Lợi suất trái phiếu kho bạc cũng giảm. Nhưng điều đó đã đảo ngược vào thứ Tư, ít nhất là trong phiên giao dịch mở cửa.

Lợi suất trái phiếu kho bạc kỳ hạn 10 năm tăng 0,1%, lên mốc 3.729.

Bảng lương Phi nông nghiệp Mỹ của ADP cho biết rằng các nhà tuyển dụng đã tăng con số tuyển dụng của họ trong tháng 9. Số liệu đang là 208.000, cao hơn so với kỳ vọng. Các nhà đầu tư đang chờ đợi về báo cáo việc làm cụ thể hơn vào thứ Sáu từ chính phủ.
