Vào lúc 9:43 ET (13:43 GMT), Dow Jones Industrial Average tăng 228, hay 0,7%, trong khi S&P 500 tăng 0,5% và NASDAQ Composite đã tăng 0,2%.

Báo cáo rất được mong đợi của Bộ Lao động cho biết tỷ lệ thất nghiệp đã nhích lên 3,7% vào tháng trước, so với kỳ vọng là 3,6%. Bảng lương phi nông nghiệp thêm 261.000, tốt hơn mức 200.000 dự kiến.
