Nhóm quỹ liên quan Dragon Capital vừa mua vào 1.1 triệu cp của Tổng CTCP Khoan và Dịch vụ khoan Dầu khí (PV Drilling (HM:PVD), HOSE: PVD) để nâng tỷ lệ sở hữu từ 10.99% lên 11.2%. Giao dịch được thực hiện ngày 30/12/2022.

Cụ thể, 3 quỹ thuộc nhóm Dragon Capital gồm quỹ DC Developing Markets Strategies Public Limited Company mua vào 600,000 cp; quỹ CTBC Vietnam Equity Fund mua vào 200,000 cp và Norges Bank mua vào 300,000 cp.

Sau giao dịch, số lượng cổ phiếu PVD mà Dragon Capital nắm giữ gần 62.2 triệu cp, tương ứng tỷ lệ sở hữu 11.2%. Tính theo giá kết phiên 30/12/2022 là 17,850 đồng/cp, nhóm quỹ này đã chi gần 19.7 tỷ đồng để thực hiện các giao dịch trên.

Trước đó, Dragon Capital trở thành cổ đông lớn của PVD từ ngày 07/09 sau giao dịch mua thêm 3.1 triệu cp. Xét theo số lượng nắm giữ vào ngày 07/09 là 29.6 triệu cp, Dragon Capital đã mua tổng cộng gần 32.6 triệu cp PVD trong giai đoạn từ 07/09-30/12/2022.

Động thái mua gom của Dragon Capital diễn ra trong bối cảnh giá cổ phiếu PVD vừa có nhịp phục hồi tốt từ nửa cuối tháng 11/2022 đến nay. Tại ngày 09/01/2023, cổ phiếu PVD giao dịch quanh vùng 18,400 đồng/cp, tăng gần 45% so với giữa tháng 11 nhưng vẫn giảm 39% so với đỉnh 39,930 đồng/cp (ngày 09/03/2022).

Mặc dù được quỹ ngoại săn đón nhưng tình hình kinh doanh của PVD lại không mấy khả quan. Quý 3/2022, PVD thu về hơn 1,242 tỷ đồng doanh thu thuần, tăng 23% so với cùng kỳ năm trước nhưng lỗ sau thuế gần 52 tỷ đồng, trong khi cùng kỳ lãi gần 56 tỷ đồng. Đây đã là quý thứ 3 liên tiếp PVD thua lỗ.

Kết quả kinh doanh các quý gần đây của PVD

Lũy kế 9 tháng năm 2022, doanh thu PVD đạt hơn 3,923 tỷ đồng, tăng 47% so với cùng kỳ và lỗ sau thuế gần 202 tỷ đồng, cùng kỳ chỉ lỗ hơn 13 tỷ đồng.

Năm 2022, Công ty đặt kế hoạch doanh thu 4,700 tỷ đồng và không thua lỗ. Sau 9 tháng, PVD đã thực hiện được hơn 83% chỉ tiêu doanh thu nhưng khó hoàn thành mục tiêu không lỗ.
