Vietstock - Giá USD duy trì ở mức thấp

Tuần qua (14-18/11/2022), giá USD trên thị trường quốc tế tiếp tục duy trì ở mức thấp khi có thêm thông tin củng cố cho hy vọng lạm phát Mỹ đã hạ nhiệt. Điều này càng khiến nhà đầu tư kỳ vọng Cục Dự trữ Liên bang Mỹ (Fed) sẽ giảm bớt việc tăng lãi suất mạnh mẽ.

Trên thị trường quốc tế, chỉ số USD-Index giữ ở mức 106.9 điểm, tăng nhẹ 0.6 điểm sau 1 tuần. Đây là mức thấp nhất của chỉ số trong gần 3 tháng trở lại đây.

Sức mạnh đồng bạc xanh suy yếu khi có thêm thông tin củng cố cho hy vọng lạm phát Mỹ đã hạ nhiệt.

Cụ thể, chỉ số giá sản xuất (PPI) tháng 10 tăng 0.2% so với tháng trước, thấp hơn dự báo tăng 0.4% từ cuộc thăm dò của Dow Jones.

So với cùng kỳ, PPI tháng 10 tăng 8%, thấp hơn mức tăng 8.4% của tháng 9/2022 và cách xa mức đỉnh 11.7% hồi tháng 3/2022.

Hy vọng lạm phát hạ nhiệt được củng cố càng khiến nhà đầu tư gia tăng kỳ vọng rằng Cục Dự trữ Liên bang Mỹ (Fed) sẽ giảm bớt việc tăng lãi suất mạnh mẽ, qua đó giá USD tiếp tục duy trì ở mức thấp.

Trước diễn biến giá USD trên thị trường quốc tế, tỷ giá trung tâm của đồng Việt Nam với USD giảm thêm 8 đồng so với tuần trước, về mức 23,675 đồng/USD trong phiên 18/11/2022.

Đáng chú ý, tỷ giá bán tham khảo tại Sở giao dịch NHNN phiên 18/11 đã được điều chỉnh giảm thêm 10 đồng xuống mức 24,850 đồng/USD. Đồng thời, nhà điều hành tiếp tục ngừng niêm yết tỷ giá mua can thiệp.

Đặc biệt, tỷ giá niêm yết tại Vietcombank (HM:VCB) giảm mạnh 52 đồng ở chiều mua trong khi chỉ giảm 2 đồng ở chiều bán, về mức 24,578 đồng/USD (mua vào) và 24,858 đồng/USD (bán ra).

Trong khi đó, tỷ giá USD/VND trên thị trường tự do giảm mạnh 300 đồng ở chiều mua và 250 đồng ở chiều bán trong phiên 18/11, xuống mức 24,850 đồng/USD (mua vào) và 25,000 đồng/USD (bán ra).
