International Finance Corporation (IFC - Tổ chức Tài chính Quốc tế) đã chuyển nhượng thành công toàn bộ 44.2 triệu cp (13.74%) đang nắm giữ tại CTCP Điện Gia Lai (HOSE: GEG) trong phiên 07/12 vừa qua.

Sau giao dịch, IFC không còn là cổ đông của GEG.

Mặt khác, đơn vị nhận chuyển nhượng số cổ phiếu trên của IFC có vẻ cũng đã lộ diện. Cụ thể, một cổ đông lớn khác của GEG là AVH Pte. Ltd. công bố đã nhận chuyển nhượng 44.2 triệu cp trong ngày 07/12.

Cũng tại phiên 07/12, trước khi nhận chuyển nhượng 44.2 triệu cp từ IFC, AVH đã nhận chuyển nhượng hơn 1.9 triệu cp từ bà Trần Tiểu Phụng.

Chỉ trong ngày 07/12, tỷ lệ sở hữu của AVH tại GEG đã tăng từ 20.8% lên 35.1%, xấp xỉ 113 triệu cp.

Các giao dịch trên không được thực hiện qua sàn. Thay vào đó, các tổ chức và cá nhân đã chuyển quyền sở hữu thông qua Trung tâm Lưu ký Chứng khoán Việt Nam (VSD).

Trước đó, vào giữa tháng 8/2022, IFC cũng đã chuyển nhượng 35.09% cp GEG cho Jera Co - nhà sản xuất điện lớn nhất Nhật Bản với giá hơn 112 triệu USD. Từ thương vụ này, doanh nghiệp Nhật Bản sẽ hỗ trợ công nghệ và chuyên môn hóa, GEG dự tính chi 1 tỷ USD tăng cường công suất điện tái tạo lên 2,000 MW. Trong đó, sản lượng điện gió được kỳ vọng chiếm 2/3 tỷ trọng điện tái tạo vào năm 2025, so với 25% ở thời điểm hiện tại.

Sự thay đổi trong cơ cấu cổ đông lớn của GEG diễn ra trong bối cảnh giá cổ phiếu GEG có dấu hiệu hồi phục sau khi tạo đáy vào giữa tháng 11 vừa qua. Tính từ đáy vừa tạo đến nay, giá cổ phiếu GEG đã hồi phục được gần 36%.
