Nhóm quỹ Dragon Capital thông báo đã mua vào gần 2,6 triệu cổ phiếu PVD của Tổng CTCP Khoan và Dịch vụ Khoan Dầu khí - PV Drilling (HM:PVD) trong ngày 12/10.

Tạm chiếu theo giá đóng cửa phiên diễn ra giao dịch là 19.850 đồng/cp, ước tính quỹ ngoại này chi ra khoảng 51 tỷ đồng để hoàn tất thương vụ trên. Sau giao dịch, tỷ lệ sở hữu của Dragon Capital tại PVD tăng từ 6,69%, tương ứng 37,1 triệu cổ phiếu lên 7,15% vốn điều lệ, tương ứng 39,7 triệu cổ phiếu.

Trước đó, Dragon Capital cũng đã gom thêm 3,1 triệu cổ phiếu PVD nâng sở hữu lên 5,33%, theo đó đó trở thành cổ đông lớn của PVD từ ngày 7/9.

Về tình hình kinh doanh, quý 2 PVD báo lỗ ròng 74 tỷ đồng do giá vốn tăng mạnh và phải chịu lỗ tỷ giá trong khi doanh thu từ hoạt động tài chính chủ yếu là lãi tiền gửi và cho vay sụt giảm.

Dù thua lỗ vậy, PVD vẫn được nhiều công ty chứng khoán đánh giá cao khả năng có lãi trong năm 2022 nhờ diễn biến leo thang về giá dầu.

Đánh giá về triển vọng nửa cuối năm của PVD, SSI (HM:SSI) Research dự báo lợi nhuận 6 tháng cuối năm 2022 đạt 162 tỷ đồng, tăng 708% so với cùng kỳ.

VNDirect  dự phóng lợi nhuận ròng năm 2022 của PV Drilling có thể đạt 96 tỷ đồng, tăng 388% so với cùng kỳ với giả định giá thuê trung bình giàn JU năm 2022 sẽ đạt 61.000 USD, cao hơn 17% cùng kỳ.
