Đây là hệ quả của các hoạt động bán ròng tiếp kể từ tuần cuối tháng 9/2022 tới nay. Báo cáo cập nhật tại ngày 27/10, tỷ trọng tiền mặt trong quỹ đầu tư lớn nhất thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam - Vietnam Enterprise Investment Limited (VEIL) gần đây đã được nâng lên ngưỡng kỷ lục trong nhiều năm (mức 9,49% - tăng thêm khoảng 7,7% so với mức 1,77% hồi cuối tháng 9) - vượt qua con số từng ghi nhận trong tháng 5/2022 khi VN-Index lao mạnh sau mức đỉnh 1.524 điểm (phiên 4/4).

Trước đó trong năm 2021, VEIL đưa tỷ trọng lên ngưỡng cao nhất vượt 5% vào tháng 7 khi làn sóng dịch COVID-19 lần 4 bùng phát và tác động mạnh đến nền kinh tế Việt Nam.

Còn ở thời điểm dịch COVID-19 lan rộng trên toàn thế giới, quỹ này từng ghi nhận đưa tỷ trọng tiền mặt lên ngưỡng cao nhất 6,38% vào trung tuần tháng 5/2020.

Với quy mô tài sản ròng (NAV) tại ngày 27/10 đạt gần 1.553 tỷ đồng - ước tính lượng tiền mặt tại quỹ VEIL chờ giải ngân trở lại thị trường là hơn 147 triệu USD (3.655 tỷ đồng) sau khi thu về hơn 3.300 tỷ đồng từ đợt bán ròng gần đây.

So với mức tài sản ròng đạt đỉnh gần 2,63 tỷ USD hồi đầu tháng 4/2022, hiện tổng giá trị danh mục đầu tư của quỹ này đã giảm gần 1 tỷ USD. 

Dẫn nguồn Dòng vốn Kinh doanh, đến hết ngày 2/11, tỷ suất lợi nhuận của VEIL là -39% trong khi mức giảm của VN-Index là 33,4%. Các cổ phiếu chiếm tỷ trọng lớn trong danh mục của VEL như HPG (HM:HPG), VHM (HM:VHM) đều đã giảm mạnh trong thời gian qua trong đó HPG chỉ còn mức 15.x đồng trong khi VHM giảm về dưới mốc 45.000 đồng thị giá.

Tại ngày 27/10, 3 mã có tỷ trong lớn nhất của VEIL là ACB (HM:ACB), VPB (HM:VPB) và MWG (HM:MWG) trong khi HPG và VHM lần lượt rơi xuống vị trí thứ 7 và 9 với tỷ trọng 3,87% và 3,73%. Những mã khác có trong Top 10 là BCM (HM:BCM), PNJ (HM:PNJ), GAS (HM:GAS), FPT (HM:FPT) và VCB (HM:VCB).
