Việt Nam đã xuất khẩu 823.128 tấn sắt thép trong tháng 12/2022, tăng 40,2% so với tháng trước đó. Theo Sở Giao dịch Hàng hoá Việt Nam (MXV), với xu hướng phục hồi mạnh mẽ của giá sắt thép trên thế giới trong khoảng hơn 2 tháng trở lại đây, giá sắt thép trong nước cũng bắt đầu có những dấu hiệu tăng trở lại.

Vào cuối tuần trước, nhiều doanh nghiệp thép cũng đã điều chỉnh tăng đối với một số loại thép. Điển hình, thép cuộn CB240 đồng loạt tăng, trong đó, tập đoàn Hoà Phát cũng đã tăng giá bán đối với loại thép này thêm 200 VNĐ/kg lên mức 14.940 đồng/kg.

Cơ cấu sản lượng bán hàng theo tháng năm 2022 của Tập đoàn Hòa Phát (HM:HPG) Về tình hình xuất khẩu sắt thép của Việt Nam trong tháng cuối cùng của năm 2022 cũng đã có sự khởi sắc hơn. Theo thống kê của Tổng cục Hải quan, Việt Nam đã xuất khẩu 823.128 tấn sắt thép trong tháng 12/2022, tăng 40,2% so với tháng trước đó. Kim ngạch xuất khẩu cũng tăng hơn 24%, đạt hơn 584 triệu đồng.

Trong tháng 12, Việt Nam tiếp tục nhập siêu hơn 123.000 tấn sắt thép, tuy nhiên, lượng nhập siêu cũng đã giảm đáng kể so với con số khoảng 376.000 tấn vào tháng 11. Như vậy, xét cả năm 2022, nước ta đã quay trở lại nhập siêu hơn 3,3 triệu tấn sắt thép, sau khi lần đầu ghi nhận xuất siêu sau nhiều năm vào năm 2021.

Mặc dù vẫn còn đối diện với nhiều thách thức, song tín hiệu tích cực hơn đối với ngành sắt thép vào cuối năm, cùng kỳ vọng về sự phục hồi nhu cầu tại một số quốc gia châu Á trong thời gian tới, sẽ hỗ trợ cho ngành thép trong nước.
